Colour + Protection in One Easy Step

Fusion™ Gel Stain & Topcoat is a brush-on, pigmented finish that adds colour and protection at the same time.

Its thicker, gel-like consistency makes it especially useful for surfaces that are scratched, uneven, previously painted or stained, or simply need a little help looking their best. With minimal prep and excellent self-levelling properties, it’s a great choice for refreshing furniture without completely stripping the existing finish.

Unlike Stain & Finishing Oil, which is a penetrating wipe-on stain, Gel Stain & Topcoat sits on the surface and is applied with a brush or roller.

HOW TO APPLY

Stir thoroughly before and during use. The product has a thick, gel-like consistency but will become less viscous as it is stirred.

Apply using a natural bristle brush or roller, working in smooth, even coats.

Allow approximately 9 hours before re-coating. Always test the surface first. If it still feels tacky, allow additional drying time before applying another coat.

BUILD THE LOOK YOU WANT

Your first coat will create a more transparent, stain-like effect that allows the surface underneath to remain visible.

Add additional coats for deeper colour and greater opacity.

Because this is a semi-transparent finish, the colour and character of the original surface will influence the final result. The exception is Patina, which contains no pigment and will always remain transparent.

CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR

Greystone
A lightly pigmented, translucent warm grey inspired by natural stone.

Black
A lightly pigmented, translucent black that adds depth while allowing the surface underneath to show through.

Double Espresso
Our darkest and most heavily pigmented Gel Stain & Topcoat. This rich coffee brown offers excellent coverage and can become nearly opaque with two coats.

Patina
Our clear Gel Stain & Topcoat with a warm, transparent amber tone. It adds durability and richness without adding opaque colour.

GOOD TO KNOW

Gel Stain & Topcoat is especially versatile on scratched, uneven, previously painted, stained, melamine, laminate, and naturally distressed surfaces.

Black, Greystone, and Double Espresso are semi-transparent, so additional coats will gradually increase opacity while maintaining the matte finish.

Patina remains transparent regardless of the number of coats applied.
